Deep Silver has officially announced Saints Row: The Third Remastered. While its existence was tipped off a few days ago by an ESRB listing, we now know that the game will release on May 22 for the PC (Epic Games Store), Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. The refreshed, revamped version of the GTA alternative has also received a “full makeover.”
“Every weapon has been remodelled, every car has been redesigned and a vast proportion of the city has been retextured; Saints Row The Third has received a full makeover,” the publisher says. “With around 4,000 assets reworked, the complete update has been expertly handled by Sperasoft. It has transformed environments, character models and visual effects, enhanced graphics and incorporated a new lighting engine.”
Saints Row: The Third Remastered also includes all three expansion mission packs, as well as over 30 pieces of DLC – all of which have been revamped, too.
