Corsair Announces Availability of K100 AIR Wireless Mechanical Gaming Keyboard

Corsair has announced that its K100 AIR Wireless Mechanical Gaming Keyboard is now available from the Corsair webstore and distributors worldwide. Originally announced early last month, the K100 AIR is Corsair’s thinnest gaming keyboard, measuring just 11 mm at the slimmest point of its brushed aluminum frame. It costs $279.99 and features CHERRY MX Ultra Low Profile mechanical switches that actuate at 0.8 mm.

$280 is awfully steep.

It does look pretty, but I question why anyone would want ultra-thin keystrokes on a desktop keyboard.

I agree with all of that. Snazzy looking but a bizarre approach.

oh, and forgot to add. . .too much $$$ for my needs. I'd consider it at ~$100-$150 but not at what will end up being $300 by the time it's all said and done.
