Preloading for Starfield began yesterday (139.84 GB for the PC version), and some people who looked into the files are reporting that there are no signs of support for NVIDIA DLSS and/or Intel XeSS anywhere. This seems to confirm that the new game from Bethesda Game Studios will only feature AMD’s FSR upscaling technology, which isn’t too surprising, with red team being Starfield’s official PC partner. AMD has recommended a Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor and Radeon RX 7900 XT graphics card for the 4K experience.
So after combing through Starfield preload files on PC, I don't see any sign of it supporting DLSS/XeSS. If true I think this would generate a lot of backlash for Bethesda & AMD (due to their refusal to confirm whether they block rival GPU vendor techs in their sponsored games). pic.twitter.com/U67On3x6Kt
