Dying Light 2: Stay Human – Reloaded Edition arrives on February 22 and is giving players additional firearms and more content. Fans of the franchise have been asking Techland to add more firearms to the sequel since its launch. Combat primarily, and intentionally relies on melee tactics, and up until now the game has only had one firearm called the Boomstick. This weapon can only be obtained after completing a mission and its blueprint must then be sought out. The developers added further challenges in using the weapon by limiting its accessibility to the player’s accessory slot. Techland wanted players to focus on more creative means of taking on legions of the undead but has since listened to fans and is providing more guns in its upcoming free Firearms update.
Reloaded Edition
Techland is also releasing the Dying Light 2: Stay Human – Reloaded Edition on the same day as the rollout of the Firearms update. This latest version will include the game’s first paid DLC called Bloody Ties, improved visuals, all previously released content along with new content for both solo and co-op modes. New content is said to include surprises for fans of the first game, and of course the new Firearms update. The developer is also working on adding Nightmare and Tower Raids modes and has said those will be added at a later date.
Dying Light 2: Stay Human – Reloaded Edition launches for PC and consoles on February 22. Players are advised to check out the game’s Pilgrim Outpost, its all-in-one hub for news updates and patch notes. Techland has stated that this will be the biggest update yet for the game and is working on adding even more features and content down the road.
