EA Sports FC 24, Ghostrunner 2, Tunic, and Destiny 2: Lightfall are the four new games that PS Plus members will be able to add to their game libraries later this month, starting on Tuesday, May 7, PlayStation has announced. In the coming months, PS5 players will also be able to share a multiplayer session invite on any social platform using PlayStation App, or by scanning a QR code on their console, per a separate blog post from PlayStation that explains how it’s come up with a new and easier way for inviting PS5 players into multiplayer sessions.
PS Plus games for May 2024:
- EA Sports FC 24 Standard Edition | PS4, PS5
- Ghostrunner 2 | PS5
- Tunic | PS4, PS5
- Destiny 2: Lightfall | PS4, PS5 (Destiny 2 required to play)
A look at PS5’s new invite feature:
Sony on how it works:
…generate a shareable link on your PS5 console or on PlayStation App, and send it to other PS5 players through any messaging or social media platform. By opening the link, the recipient will be able to hop into your multiplayer session even if they aren’t already friends with you on PlayStation Network.
For example, if you just met some new friends on your favorite social platform, you can send them a PS5 session invite in the same chat and start playing together right away, without needing to add each other as friends on PS5 first.
