Microsoft has officially unveiled its next-generation, AI-powered Copilot+ Surface PCs (i.e., the Surface Pro 11 and Surface Laptop 7), and with it comes the introduction of the Surface Pro Flex, a new “inclusive” keyboard for the updated 2-in-1 device that, while featuring a precision haptic touchpad that allows users to use it with different parts of their limbs—including their palms or residual limbs—has been receiving criticism for what is apparently premium pricing. Estimated to begin shipping to customers on June 18, the new keyboard costs $349.99, a price that would put it exactly in line with popular devices that include the LCD version of the Steam Deck, Valve’s handheld PC for gamers.
Microsoft’s latest Surface accessories include:
- Surface Pro Flex Keyboard ($349.99)
- Surface Pro Flex Keyboard – Black with bold keyset ($349.99)
- Surface Pro Flex Keyboard with Slim Pen 2 ($449.98)
- Surface Pro Keyboard with Bold Keyset ($179.99)
- Surface Pro Keyboard with Slim Pen 2 ($279.99)
