Microids has released a new trailer for Empire of the Ants officially announcing its November 7 arrival for PC and consoles. Microids upcoming adaptation of author Bernard Weber’s saga has already gained recognition for its photorealistic visuals that show great attention to detail. The 3D real-time strategy game has been built using Unreal 5 and will allow players to immerse themselves in a richly detailed and populated forest environment. Seasons will change and affect the local wildlife and player’s abilities. Game maps will also change according to the time of day.
The release trailer showcases new gameplay footage and Microids has also published a press release to coincide with the recently finished Summer Games Fest. Empire of the Ants will be available via GOG, Steam, Epic, Xbox (Series X|S), PlayStation (PS5), Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Target, MediaMarkt, and Walmart.
