AMD 3D V-Cache Optimizer Driver Gets Updated Ahead of Ryzen 9000X3D Series Launch

The Ryzen 9000X3D Series, an improved lineup of AMD’s new Zen 5 desktop CPUs that are expected to deliver further performance improvements via the company’s 3D V-Cache technology, may be just around the corner, according to a new chipset driver (6.05.28.016) that AMD released today, which includes an update for the AMD 3D V-Cache driver. Originally introduced alongside the Ryzen 7 5800X3D, this driver was last updated around the launch of the Ryzen 7000X3D Series, which are available now in three options, including the Ryzen 9 7950X3D, a flagship CPU that counts 16 cores, 32 threads, and Radeon graphics within its spec sheet.
