AMD, the company best known for its Ryzen, Radeon, and EPYC product lines, is looking into claims that sensitive company information, including what is said to be firmware, employee databases, future product plans, specification sheets, and more, were stolen in a recent hack. IntelBroker, a hacker whose previous victims include Home Depot, Europol, and Facebook Marketplace, shared news of their work on the Breach Forums, posting a list of accessed files and a list of “inactive” email addresses belonging to employees.
Information that was allegedly accessed include:
- ROMs
- Firmware
- Source code
- Property files
- Employee databases
- Customer databases
- Financial information
- Future AMD product plans
- Technical specification sheets
As for employee data that may have been exposed:
- User IDs
- Job functions
- Email addresses
- Employment status
- First and last names
- Business phone numbers
