The Original Resident Evil Is Now Available on GOG with New Rendering Options and Other Improvements, RE2 and RE3 Coming Later This Year

Resident Evil, the original survival horror game from 1996 that defined the genre and launched one of Capcom’s most successful franchises, is now available on GOG with new rendering options, full compatibility with modern versions of Windows, and other improvements, GOG has announced. The original Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 will also be coming to the DRM-free storefront this year; a bundle that includes them all is now available for purchase for those who want to play them as soon as they’re released.
