The Xbox Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max with Robot White Core Wireless Controller Bundle, a new bundle that allows customers to stream and play Xbox games with “no console required,” is now available for purchase at a discounted price of $78.99 following its launch last week on July 13, 2024, according to a new listing that can be accessed under Amazon.com’s streaming media players section. The bundle arrives amid reports about how Xbox consoles continue to sell poorly versus the competition, with some going so far to suggest that Microsoft will no longer advertise its gaming hardware in certain regions.

About the bundle:

  • “Receive 1 month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate by email with purchase of a Fire TV Stick 4K Max and Xbox controller bundle – valid for new Game Pass members only.”
  • “The only streaming media player with the Xbox app: Stream Forza Motorsport, Starfield, Palworld, and discover hundreds of other high-quality games directly on your Fire TV with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate via cloud gaming. No console required.”
  • “Bundle has everything you need to start game play, including a Fire TV Stick 4K Max and an Xbox Wireless Controller. Plus, get 1 month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate – valid for new Game Pass members only.”
  • “Includes Xbox Wireless Controller for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and more. Stay on target with the hybrid D-pad, and textured grip on the triggers and bumpers. USB Type-C Port.”
  • “Fire TV Stick 4K Max has 16GB of storage—double that of Fire TV Stick 4K and our other streaming sticks, for even more apps, games and downloads.”
  • “Wi-Fi 6E support – Enjoy smoother 4K streaming, even when other devices are connected to your router.”
  • “Stream more than 1.5 million movies and TV episodes. Watch favorites from Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, Max, and more, plus listen to millions of songs. Subscription fees may apply.”

A promo for Xbox’s new collaboration with Amazon:

Microsoft wrote in its original announcement:

In July, the Xbox app will be available on the Fire TV Stick 4K Max (2023) ($59.99) and Fire TV Stick 4K (2023) ($49.99). For people new to console gaming, or for those looking for another way to play, it’s a great low-cost, convenient, and portable option to enjoy a huge library of incredible games.

To get started, players just need a Fire TV Stick, a Bluetooth-enabled wireless controller, and an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership to gain instant access to hundreds of phenomenal games, including Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, Starfield, and Forza Horizon 5, among others.
