The P8 Slim PWM PST, a new low-profile fan that features a height of only 15 mm, allowing it to fit into what’s been described as the tightest PC builds, is now available at retailers that include Amazon, ARCTIC has announced. This new fan, which counts a zero-RPM mode and up to a 3,000 RPM speed among its feature set, joins ARCTIC’s existing slim case fan series, which already includes the P12 Slim PWM PST and P14 Slim PWM PST.
Key features include:
- “LOW INSTALLATION HEIGHT: The P8 Slim PWM PST has an installation height of only 15 mm, making it suitable for small form factor cases & for installations for which a 25 mm fan does not fit.”
- “DAISY-CHAIN THROUGH PST: The P8 Slim PWM PST has an additional socket next to the plug connection, to which additional fans can be connected synchronised in series.”
- “300 TO 3000 RPM: Thanks to the 4-pin connector, the fan speed can be controlled via PWM. This reduces noise to a minimum and guarantees maximum cooling performance at the same time.”
- “IDEAL FOR HTPC, SBC AND SLIM SYSTEMS: The low installation height and extremely energy-efficient operation make the P8 Slim PWM PST perfect for small PCs, such as single-board computers and the entire SFF range.”
- “TECHNICAL DATA: Fan speed: 300–3000 rpm; Airflow: 22.5 cfm | 38.23 m³/h; Static pressure: 2.35 mmHâ‚‚O; Current | Voltage: 0.095 A | 12.0 V DC; Connection: 4-pin PWM.”

ARCTIC on its latest fan:
With a height of only 15 mm, the P8 Slim PWM PST fits into even the tightest PC builds. Compared to standard 25mm models, it allows for space-saving installation and is ideal for small cases and the entire range of Small Form Factor (SFF) devices.
Despite its small dimensions, the P8 Slim PWM PST delivers a powerful airflow and high static pressure with a maximum of 3000 rpm. The PWM control ensures quiet operation while maintaining optimal cooling performance. An additional connection allows more fans to be connected for coordinated performance.
