The latest BIOS updates for GIGABYTE X670, B650, and A620 motherboards, including AGESA 1.2.0.0a Patch A—a new beta BIOS that optimizes performance for AMD Ryzen 9000 Series processors and introduces three new overclocking features that are supported by the soon-to-be-released Zen 5 CPUs (e.g., Curve Shaper)—are now available for download, GIGABYTE has announced. The news comes on the heels of a separate announcement from MSI, one in which the company says a new updated BIOS will be coming “ASAP” following Intel’s announcement about how the instability of 13th and 14th Gen Intel Core processors should be blamed on a microcode algorithm that resulted in incorrect voltage requests to the processor.

Regarding the recent Intel Core 13th/14th Gen desktop processors instability, MSI has worked closely with Intel to understand the situation and is closely monitoring the progress.
