Skydance Games Teams with Embracer-Owned PLAION to Bring Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra to Players in 2025

MARVEL 1943: Rise of Hydra, a narrative-driven, ensemble adventure from Skydance Games that stars some of Marvel Comics’ most popular superheroes, including Captain America and Azzuri (the Black Panther of the 1940s), will be released in 2025 under a publishing deal with PLAION, one of Embracer Group’s remaining subsidiaries, the companies have announced. Amy Hennig, the creative director and writer behind all of the original Uncharted games, including 2009’s Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, is leading the team behind the new superhero project, which is being built on Unreal Engine 5.4.

MARVEL 1943: Rise of Hydra’s cast includes:
