The Ryzen 5 5500X3D, a new desktop processor based on the Zen 3 architecture that will be the fourth in the series to bring 3D V-Cache technology for users on the AM4 platform, is currently in the works at AMD, according to new listings that can be found at the EEC. The news comes two weeks after the release of the Ryzen 9 5900XT and Ryzen 7 5800XT, two additional CPUs that AMD developed to continue what it had described as unprecedented support for the AM4 platform.
AMD’s current lineup of X3D chips include:

- AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D
- AMD Ryzen 5 5600X3D
- AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D
