NZXT, the American computer hardware company that recently launched what has been described as a first-of-its-kind gaming PC subscription service, has announced that customers who have purchased a gaming PC with an affected 13th or 14th Gen Intel Core desktop CPU from NZXT are automatically covered by the company’s standard two-year warranty, but that it will also extend warranty coverage by an additional two years for affected Intel CPUs, echoing Intel’s own extension. A BIOS update that delivers the 0x129 microcode update for the N7 Z790, one of NZXT’s premium motherboards, is available now, with updates for older models coming soon.
