Resident Evil 2, the classic 1998 survival horror sequel from Capcom that took players out of the confines of the Spencer Mansion to Raccoon City and introduced them to two of the franchise’s most popular characters, Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield, will be coming to PC via GOG on August 27, Capcom has announced. The new PC port of the game, which is set to arrive nearly 27 years after the release of the original on PlayStation, includes several improvements, such as full Windows 10 and 11 compatibility, an improved DirectX game renderer with new rendering options, and full support for the DualSense, Xbox Wireless, and other modern controllers.
