Star Wars Outlaws, the new action-adventure game from Massive Entertainment and Ubisoft that is said to be the franchise’s very first to deliver an open-world environment, allowing players to explore both iconic and new locations on a customizable speeder bike and more, features a hidden graphics setting, one that those with more powerful hardware can enable for an even more visually impressive experience, according to a tip that players with early access have shared online. The secret “Outlaws” setting, which can be enabled by adding “-unlockmaxsettings” as a launch argument in the Ubisoft Connect launcher, is inspired by Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora’s “Unobtanium” preset, a setting that Ubisoft has described as being “extremely difficult to run,” designed to stress future GPUs and other hardware.

Star Wars Outlaws PC features officially include:

  • Ray-traced global illumination, reflections, and shadows
  • NVIDIA RTX dynamic illumination (RTXDI) Support
  • NVIDIA DLSS 3.5 support (ray reconstruction, Frame Generation, Super Resolution)
  • Intel XESS 1.3 and AMD FSR 3.0 (upscaling and frame generation) support
  • In-depth customization options
  • Uncapped frame rate
  • 21:9 Cinematic Display Mode
  • Multi-monitor and ultrawide support
