Micron Delivers High-Octane Performance to Gamers and Creators with Crucial P310 2280 Gen4 SSD

The Crucial P310 2280 Gen4 NVMe SSD, a new solid-state drive that is said to deliver high-octane performance to both gamers and creators, delivering 2x faster performance than Gen3 SSDs and 40% faster performance than Crucial’s P3 Plus with read and write speeds of 7,100 and 6,000 MB/s respectively, is now available at crucial.com, as well as through select etailers, retailers, and global channel partners, Micron has announced. Capacity options for the SSD, which advertises endurances of up to 440 TBW, include 500 GB, 1 TB, and 2 TB, the latter of which is priced at $139.99 as part of a discount offer.

The SSD is available in a standard M.2 2280 form factor that offers an easy-to-install solution that customers can use to upgrade their existing laptops and extend device lifecycles rather than buying new ones. A version with a heatsink will be released in the coming months and is ideally suited for use with PlayStation 5 and desktop gaming PCs.
