Frostpunk 3, a third installment of the city-building survival game series that challenges players to take on the role of a leader in an alternate-history, post-apocalyptic version of earth that’s been devastated by a worldwide volcanic winter, could very well be coming, according to a new announcement from developer 11 bit studios today about how its new sequel has already exceeded 350,000 copies sold following its launch on September 20, leading to an estimated level of sales revenue that covers the costs it had spent on producing and marketing the game. Frostpunk 2, a sequel to the original that takes place 30 years after the 2018 game, is now available for Windows PCs, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and macOS.
