Until Dawn, Ballistic Moon’s remake of the 2015 interactive drama horror game from Supermassive Games that was previously exclusive to the PS4, has received nearly three hours of gameplay footage on PS5 courtesy of a Twitch streamer. The new game, which is also launching for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store this Friday (October 4), was developed on Unreal Engine 5 and ushers in several improvements to the original experience, including overhauled visuals, revised cinematography, and a modern third-person camera. A launch trailer for the game that PlayStation shared today can be found below, while the gameplay leak can be found here.

By using a combination of fixed and over-the-shoulder camera views, you can now see the world of Until Dawn from entirely new perspectives. Blending the cinematography of the original with the introduction of a modern third-person camera, we hope to bring new life to characters and locations. The camera’s flexibility allows us to place new emphasis on important moments and tell the story from a view closer to the characters.
