The new Corsair iCUE LINK RX MAX fan series is 30mm thick, an increase of 20% over previous models for improved performance. Available in 120mm and 140mm, with or without RGB, they are designed for optimal cooling with decreased noise levels. The non-RGB models come with built-in temperature sensors for added monitoring while the RGB models, which feature eight RGB LEDs, are available in black or white for that extra touch of style.

Per Press Release:

“The RX120 MAX PWM fans feature a speed range of 400 to 2,000 RPM and an impressive 4.2mm-H2O static pressure, making them ideal for pushing air through dense radiators. Similarly, the RX140 MAX fans operate between 300 and 1,600 RPM with a static pressure of 2.4mm-H2O, providing powerful cooling for a wide range of high-performance components.”

“CORSAIR AirGuide Technology focuses airflow precisely where it is needed most, enhancing cooling efficiency and performance. The fans also feature a Magnetic Dome bearing for long-lasting performance and quiet operation, offering a balance between durability and reduced noise levels. Non-RGB fans are equipped with built-in temperature sensors, allowing users to fine-tune fan curves through iCUE software and customize their cooling profiles for peak performance.”

The new Corsair iCUE LINK RX MAX fan series can be purchased individually or as part of Corsair’s Starter Kit that includes three of the 120mm fans and the iCUE LINK hub. The iCUE LINK hub enables a more simplified installation and seamless connection via a single cable to control all three fans.

Per Press Release:

“Each RGB-enabled fan in the iCUE LINK RX MAX series features eight RGB LEDs that deliver vibrant lighting effects. A built-in side window further enhances the visual appeal, offering more angles for viewing custom lighting setups. CORSAIR iCUE LINK technology enables the seamless connection of multiple fans, all managed through the Starter Kit’s included iCUE LINK System Hub. This single-cable solution simplifies the installation process and ensures tidy cable management.”

As a child of the 70’s I was part of the many who became enthralled by the video arcade invasion of the 1980’s. Saving money from various odd jobs I purchased my first computer from a friend of my dad, a used Atari 400, around 1982. Eventually it would end up being a lifelong passion of upgrading and modifying equipment that, of course, led into a career in IT support.
