FX Networks has shared a new teaser for Alien: Earth, confirming that the new show from writer and director Noah Hawley (Fargo, Legion) will take place in 2120—just two years before the setting of Ridley Scott’s original 1979 Alien film (2122), and 27 years after Prometheus (2093), a prequel that Scott returned to direct, released by 20th Century Fox in 2012. See below for FX Networks’ new 42-second teaser, which includes a future Earth reflecting off of the head of a Xenomorph, and a summer 2025 premiere date on Hulu.
