The GeForce RTX 4050, a laptop-only Ada Lovelace GPU that NVIDIA launched in February 2023 with 2560 CUDA cores, a boost clock range of 1605–2370 MHz, and 6 GB of GDDR6 memory, will be the only GeForce RTX 40 Series laptop GPU standing after the release of the GeForce RTX 50 “Blackwell” Series. That’s according to the latest word from one of Lenovo’s PR reps, who claimed that everything else is getting discontinued, per a post that was published this week on China’s Weibo.com.
RTX4050 laptop is the only 40 series laptop GPU that NVIDIA will continue to supply after the 50 series graphics card is launched. The others will be discontinued and switched to the new 50 series. The coexistence of 4050 and 5050 means that the price of 4050 to 5050 will not be the same as the previous price. The above price increases step by step.
