Windows 11, the latest major release of the Windows NT operating system that Microsoft originally launched in October 2021 with several hardware requirements (e.g., support for Trusted Platform Module 2.0 and newer CPUs from AMD, Qualcomm, and Intel), can now be installed on devices that don’t meet the minimum system requirements outlined by Microsoft, according to a new post that can be found on Microsoft’s official support site. Microsoft is advising against installing Windows 11 on devices that don’t meet minimum system requirements, however, warning that doing so can lead to malfunction due to compatibility and other issues. See below for a disclaimer from Microsoft, one that points out any damages aren’t covered under warranty.
