Intel Arc B580 Limited Edition Gets Tested in 3DMark Time Spy, Besting GeForce RTX 4060, Arc A770, and Arc A750

The Arc B580 Limited Edition, the “Founders Edition” of Intel’s leading Battlemage GPU based on the Xe2 architecture, is capable of scoring over 14,000 points in 3DMark’s Time Spy test, according to an early benchmark for the graphics card that has surfaced online. Trailing the Arc B580 Limited Edition is the Alchemist generation’s leading Arc A770 and Arc A750 GPUs, which are shown with scores of 13,158 and 12,391, respectively, followed by the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 with a score 11,218. The Intel Arc B580 Limited Edition graphics card and models from add-in board partners (i.e., Acer, ASRock, GUNNIR, ONIX, MAXSUN and Sparkle) will be available starting this Friday at a starting price of $249.

The Intel Arc B-Series GPUs use Intel’s latest Xe2 architecture, optimized to deliver improved efficiency and higher performance per core with less software overhead. Second-generation Xe-cores deliver the solid compute capabilities required for modern workloads and include high-performance XMX AI engines. New Xe-cores are supported by more capable ray tracing units, better mesh shading performance and improved support of key graphics functions to significantly increase performance efficiency with the latest game engines.
