The Radeon RX 7900 GRE, an RDNA 3 graphics card that AMD launched in February to deliver what it says is incredible 1440p/4K gaming, bolstered by advanced features and the latest technology, has reached end-of-life and is no longer in production, according to a new report that emerged today. News of the Radeon RX 7900 GRE’s discontinuation is said to stem from AMD’s own partners, all of which have apparently implied that the graphics card will not be restocked. The report notes that AMD will continue to support the product via software updates, however.
The Pricewatch already shows that most Radeon RX 7900 GRE models are poorly available . Only a model from ASUS is still readily available, although that manufacturer also indicates upon inquiry that deliveries are currently ‘limited’. It is not clear why the RX 7900 GRE is disappearing from AMD’s range. Tweakers has asked AMD for confirmation several times, but has not received a response at the time of publication.
