Star Wars Outlaws, the 2024 action-adventure game developed by Massive Entertainment (The Division) that allows players to take on the role of scoundrel Kay Vess in a new story set between The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and Return of the Jedi (1983), did not get a DLSS 4 update as NVIDIA had promised in early January with its article about how 75 games and apps would have support at launch, but it’s definitely in the works and will be coming at a later date, according to new statements that a Ubisoft employee has seemingly shared to the StarWarsOutlaws subreddit.

“Thanks for your patience, the team is working on integrating official DLSS 4 support and it will be available via an upcoming Title Update,” reads a message that a user by the name of Ubi-Hassle posted today.

“Our team is hard at work to ensure that Star Wars Outlaws players have the best experience possible with DLSS 4,” they clarified in another thread from a player that pointed out how the game isn’t ready for DLSS 4. “We”ll update you further once we have more information.”

“To begin 2025 with a bang, we’re announcing that 75 games and apps will support DLSS 4’s new DLSS Multi Frame Generation technology at launch of our GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs,” NVIDIA’s Andrew Burnes stated in an article that was published to the official GeForce website on January 6.

“Included on the list are today’s most played and highest rated games, including Alan Wake 2, Cyberpunk 2077, Diablo IV, Dragon Age: The Veilguard, God of War Ragnarök, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, NARAKA: BLADEPOINT, SILENT HILL 2, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, and Star Wars Outlaws,” it continues. “Black State, DOOM: The Dark Ages, and Dune: Awakening will also include DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation when they’re released, ensuring the definitive day-one experience for GeForce RTX gamers. And The Witcher IV will feature the latest RTX-powered technologies.”

“It should have been today but not all of the 75 games they said would be ready got an update,” one player noted on the day of the GeForce RTX 50 Series and DLSS 4’s launch. “Jedi Survivor also didnt get updated.”
