Editor’s Note: Intel is also unveiling the Assured Supply Chain Program today, a program that “offers a silicon manufacturing corridor for Intel commercial processors and a secure digital method for end users to see where chips travel along the supply chain.” More details on that can be found further below.

(PR) Today, at MWC 2025,Intel unveiled its most powerful lineup of commercial AI PCs ever with the launch of Intel® Core™ Ultra 200U, 200H, 200HX and 200S series processors, alongside the Intel Core Ultra 200V series. This expanded portfolio equips businesses around the world with solutions offering compute performance, power efficiency, connectivity, security and manageability, across desktop and mobile form factors.

“2025 is a pivotal year for PC refresh, and with Intel Core Ultra (Series 2) processors, we’re delivering the most advanced commercial systems to date,” said David Feng, vice president of the Client Computing Group and general manager of Client Segments at Intel. “Our AI PC processors cater to every form factor – from thin-and-light productivity devices to high-performance workstations – all backed by Intel vPro®, which sets the industry standard in business computing with unmatched manageability and security.”

Compared with a four-year-old Intel® Core™ i7-1185G7 processor, the new Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 265H processor delivers up to 2.84x higher multicore performance in Cinebench 2024, up to 1.39x faster performance in Procyon office productivity tests and up to 1.97x faster video editing performance in Procyon tests1.

Intel vPro Fleet Services Simplifies IT Operations

Designed to meet the evolving needs of IT professionals, Intel vPro is built on decades of business platform leadership, providing advanced fleet provisioning, unmatched defense and manageability with AI enhanced security, premium connectivity and exceptional device stability with 99.7% app compatibility.

Intel vPro® Fleet Services, a new hosted software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution, simplifies remote fleet management by eliminating the need for on-premises servers. It offers businesses faster recovery from disruptions and reduces the steps required for activation from 24 to six – without the need for owned server infrastructure or added cost to end customers. Intel vPro Fleet Services is in private preview today and will also be integrated into Microsoft Intune2.

Intel remains the only silicon provider offering hardware security validated against the MITRE ATT&CK framework, the gold standard for cybersecurity operations3.

Intel Assured Supply Chain Provides Transparency and Trust

Intel also introduced the Intel® Assured Supply Chain (ASC) program, designed to provide customers with greater visibility and assurance in the silicon manufacturing process. This specialized client system-on-chip (SoC) solution, initially offered on select Intel® Core™ Ultra (Series 2) mobile and desktop SKUs, ensures a digitally attestable chain of custody for each chip, leveraging a dedicated manufacturing pathway through specific production facilities. This added layer of transparency assures customers of the integrity and reliability of their silicon supply chain.

(PR) What’s New: Intel Products today launched the Intel® Assured Supply Chain (ASC) program, designed to provide additional transparency and assurance in the silicon manufacturing process. This specialized client system-on-chip (SoC) solution, initially offered on specific Intel® Core™ Ultra (Series 2) mobile and desktop SKUs, provides a digitally attestable chain of custody of each chip’s progress through the chip manufacturing process, leveraging a dedicated chip manufacturing pathway through specific Intel manufacturing locations. With the ASC program, Intel Products delivers added transparency into processor manufacturing, assuring customers about the locations of their silicon supply chain.

“Intel has long been a leader in secure, transparent and reliable semiconductor manufacturing, and the Intel Assured Supply Chain program is another step forward in strengthening trust in the technology that powers our customers’ critical operations.” – Jennifer Larson, general manager, Commercial Client Segments, Client Computing Group, Intel

Why It Matters: The integrity of the global semiconductor supply chain is paramount. Ensuring the manufacturing provenance of hardware is critical for customers to avoid financial losses, reputation damage, system downtime and downtime during recovery due to counterfeit-related hardware risks.

Intel is uniquely positioned to address supply chain risk due to its diverse geographic manufacturing capabilities, leading ecosystem position and #1 Rated Product Security Assurance1. With a robust network of manufacturing facilities in locations around the globe and strong ecosystem partnerships, Intel offers enhanced transparency and verifiable silicon chain of custody.

How It Works: Initial rollout of ASC will be available on select Intel Core Ultra (Series 2) commercial mobile and desktop SKUs with production and first customer shipping scheduled for later in the second half of 2025. Customers will be able to confirm the processor being Intel Assured Supply Chain from the processor brand string. Intel Assured Supply Chain SoC will have the letter “A” at the end of the processor brand string and, using industry tools, will be able to display the list of countries for the ASC SKU.

Intel will continue working with its partners to identify product portfolios that would most benefit from the Intel Assured Supply Chain program – focusing on desktop and mobile PCs that are in high demand for government agencies and businesses. Customer feedback, market analysis, and time of manufacturing will drive future location decisions and product offerings.
