Gameplay Performance
In the gaming performance below, we are comparing performance at 1440p, as this is the prime target resolution for these graphics cards. We are using an AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT reference AMD card and a factory overclocked PowerColor Hellhound Radeon RX 7900 GRE video card (7900 GREs are factory overclocked, there is no reference card), as well as the ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti (which runs at NVIDIA reference clock speeds for the RTX 5070 Ti). Alan Wake 2

In Alan Wake 2, we are running the game at 1440p with the highest game settings. The new XFX Quicksilver AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Magnetic Air Edition allows a very playable experience at 1440p and Native Resolution, without needing Upscaling to be playable, proving a smooth 100FPS in this game. At this performance, the XFX Quicksilver AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Magnetic Air Edition is 7% faster than the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti and also 13% faster than the AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT, and blows the 7900 GRE out of the water. Overclocking the video card improves performance by 4%.
Black Myth: Wukong

Black Myth: Wukong is very demanding at Cinematic quality, even at 1440p. The new XFX Quicksilver AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Magnetic Air Edition doesn’t quite provide a playable experience at 1440p without Upscaling. With Upscaling enabled, we get a playable and enjoyable experience at 1440p in Cinematic quality. In this game, the XFX Quicksilver AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Magnetic Air Edition is 4% slower than the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, but both are very close, with only a 2 FPS average in difference. What can be seen is how big of a performance uplift there is from the Radeon RX 7900 XT, a 19% performance uplift, which is pretty big. Overclocking the XFX Quicksilver AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Magnetic Air Edition improves performance 4% and brings it in parity with the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti on performance.
Cyberpunk 2077

In Cyberpunk 2077, at 1440p and “Ultra” settings, the XFX Quicksilver AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Magnetic Air Edition provides a more than playable experience at 132 FPS in Native resolution without needing Upscaling. However, enabling upscaling improves performance up to 156 FPS. This puts the XFX Quicksilver AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Magnetic Air Edition pretty much on par with the Geforce RTX 5070 Ti exactly in this game, both video cards provide the same performance and the same experience. The XFX Quicksilver AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Magnetic Air Edition is 9% faster than the Radeon RX 7900 XT in this game. When we overclock the XFX Quicksilver AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Magnetic Air Edition performance increases by 4%.
Dying Light 2

In Dying Light 2, the XFX Quicksilver AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Magnetic Air Edition provides a playable experience at 1440p and the highest game settings with a smooth 165 FPS. Upscaling improves this to over 200 FPS at 1440p. In this game, the XFX Quicksilver AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Magnetic Air Edition is 8% slower than the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti but 8% faster than the Radeon RX 7900 XT. When overclocked, the XFX Quicksilver AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Magnetic Air Edition improves performance by 3%.
F1 24

In F1 24, the XFX Quicksilver AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Magnetic Air Edition kills the experience at over 200 FPS at 1440p with the highest settings. In this game, performance is pretty close to the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti. The XFX Quicksilver AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Magnetic Air Edition is only 2% behind the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, and 4% faster than the Radeon RX 7900 XT. Overclocking the XFX Quicksilver AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Magnetic Air Edition improves performance by 4%.
Horizon Forbidden West

In Horizon Forbidden West, the XFX Quicksilver AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Magnetic Air Edition provides a great experience, giving us the fastest performance in this game and allowing 126 FPS average with Native resolution. Enabling FSR Upscaling improves that performance to 150 FPS average. In this game, the XFX Quicksilver AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Magnetic Air Edition is 12% faster than the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, and 19% faster than the Radeon RX 7900 XT. Overclocking improves performance by 5%.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

In Indiana Jones, we are running the game at 1440p and the “Supreme” quality preset. This game is very playable on the XFX Quicksilver AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Magnetic Air Edition at native resolution providing 136 FPS average, and with FSR Upscaling 160 FPS average. The gameplay experience matches the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti in performance and feel. The XFX Quicksilver AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Magnetic Air Edition is only 2% behind the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti in performance. The XFX Quicksilver AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Magnetic Air Edition is 12% faster than the Radeon RX 7900 XT. Overclocking the XFX Quicksilver AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Magnetic Air Edition doesn’t provide a lot in this particular game, just 2%.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II

In Kingdom Come Deliverance II, the XFX Quicksilver AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Magnetic Air Edition provides a very smooth gameplay experience at 85 FPS without needing upscaling. When FSR Upscaling is enabled, performance jumps to over 100 FPS average. In this game, the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti seems to dominate performance; the XFX Quicksilver AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Magnetic Air Edition is 17% slower than the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl

With FSR Upscaling enabled that is at 120 FPS average in this game.
