Power and Temp
Power

The AMD Radeon RX 9070 TDP/TGP is 220W. However, our XFX Swift AMD Radeon RX 9070 OC White Triple Fan Gaming Edition model is an OC model and has a high factory overclock, so it will naturally also run at a higher power level. We can see that at default the board power on our XFX Swift AMD Radeon RX 9070 OC White Triple Fan Gaming Edition peaked at 247W. This is only 12% higher than the stock reference TDP. It is also the lowest power draw on this graph, even lower power than the Radeon RX 7800 XT by 2%!
When we look at the power draw compared to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 FE we find that the XFX Swift AMD Radeon RX 9070 OC White Triple Fan Gaming Edition uses 6% less power draw than the GeForce RTX 5070 FE! Now consider how much faster the XFX Swift AMD Radeon RX 9070 OC White Triple Fan Gaming Edition was in performance, and you start to see a very positive picture being painted for the performance to the power demand of the Radeon RX 9070 versus the GeForce RTX 5070. The XFX Swift AMD Radeon RX 9070 OC White Triple Fan Gaming Edition also used 15% less power than the Radeon RX 7900 GRE, which it outperformed at every turn in a big way.
Overclocking the XFX Swift AMD Radeon RX 9070 OC White Triple Fan Gaming Edition made the power increase by 9%.
Temperature

The cooling on the XFX Swift AMD Radeon RX 9070 OC White Triple Fan Gaming Edition is fantastic, keeping the video card incredibly cool at just 56c. Even when we overclocked the XFX Swift AMD Radeon RX 9070 OC White Triple Fan Gaming Edition the temps only rose to 58c, and this was with the fan speed on automatic control, no fan speed increase on our part at all. At these temps, the XFX Swift AMD Radeon RX 9070 OC White Triple Fan Gaming Edition had the coolest running GPU, cooler than even the custom Radeon RX 7900 GRE video card, and my gosh a whole lot cooler than the GeForce RTX 5070 which ran up to almost 80c on the GPU edge temp.

We were also able to look at the GPU Ho tSpot temps on the AMD GPUs, and once again the XFX Swift AMD Radeon RX 9070 OC White Triple Fan Gaming Edition had the coolest temperatures at 74c and 76c overclocked. This is a HUGE difference compared to the Radeon RX 7800 XT hot spot temp, wow.

We also wanted to look at the memory temperature, and on this, the memory did run a little bit warmer than the other video cards here. The XFX Swift AMD Radeon RX 9070 OC White Triple Fan Gaming Edition had the warmest memory at 82c, and overclocked at 84c, while the 7900 GRE and RTX 5070 FE memory ran a little cooler. These temperatures are nothing to worry about, they aren’t far off from the other video cards, but just worth noting.
GPU-Z Screenshots

Above, you can see the GPU-Z sensor data running at default (left) and overclocked (right) in Cyberpunk 2077. We can see that at default the GPU Voltage is just at 0.947V, and overclocked that moved up slightly automatically to 0.971V. The fan speed was at 29% default and overclocked on automatic moved up slightly to 33% fan speed.
