The Last of Us Part II Remastered is making its way to PC this week featuring numerous PC-specific enhancements. Naughty Dog’s second outing for its popular franchise where humanity scrambles to survive the infected has been optimized for PC by Sony’s go-to studio for porting, Nixxes Software (Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut, Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered/Miles Morales/Spider-Man 2). PlayStation 5 improvements such as roguelike survival mode No Return, Guitar Free Play, and more have been brought over along with full support for the PlayStation DualSense controller.

As a child of the 70’s I was part of the many who became enthralled by the video arcade invasion of the 1980’s. Saving money from various odd jobs I purchased my first computer from a friend of my dad, a used Atari 400, around 1982. Eventually it would end up being a lifelong passion of upgrading and modifying equipment that, of course, led into a career in IT support.
