While many have enjoyed the realistic racing aspects of various Gran Turismo games, there’s no denying the amount of fun had in geeking out, looking at the specs of your favorite cars, or simply checking things out for ideas down the road and the team behind the long running franchise have made it as easy a clicking a mouse button to check it all out now. The database allows sorting and comparison so that users can view by criteria such as manufacturer, country/region, drivetrain, power, and weight. Although the official announcement states there are 530 cars in the database, a quick check shows 539, as does one of the screenshots provided by Polyphony Digital. The database can be accessed via this link, so pour your favorite beverage, kick back, and dig into a cool virtual library featuring some of the world’s most exotic cars.
Per Polyphony Digital (via news blog):
“This new database represents a deep dive into the heart of Gran Turismo 7’s expansive garage. Covering all 530* cars currently featured in the game, each profile comes with images and key specifications, including drivetrain layout, horsepower, and weight. Also, the list view lets you sort the lineup by any of these specs—ascending or descending—so you can zero in on the perfect machine for your next race or collection milestone.”
