Kingdom Come: Deliverance II

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II was released to PC in February of 2025 and is based on the CryEngine. Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is another game where ‘ray tracing’ is enabled at all times by default. Kingdom Come: Deliverance II features an advanced global illumination system for realistic lighting, detailed textures, and geometry, and upscaling technologies including DLSS and FSR. It is based on CryEngine’s sparse vocal octree global illumination for dynamic lighting and shadows. We are utilizing an in-game manual run-through in the open world between cities, through a settlement, and a heavily forested area with direct bright sunlight.

ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 5050 SOLO 1080p Kingdom Come: Deliverance II High Quality Preset Graph

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, we had to lower the game from Ultra down to the “High” quality preset in order to get a playable experience on the ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 5050 SOLO at 1080p native resolution. At “High”, the ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 5050 SOLO averages a smooth 80FPS, so DLSS Upscaling isn’t needed, but if you did, it scales up to 100FPS average. The ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 5050 SOLO is a very strong card in this game compared.

The ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 5050 SOLO is 65% faster than the GeForce RTX 3050, a very big increase. The ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 5050 SOLO edges out the Radeon RX 7600 by 2%. The ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 5050 SOLO is also on par with the GeForce RTX 4060 in performance here. Overclocking adds about 4% more to performance.

SUMMARY

The ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 5050 SOLO is a great entry-level gaming card for a small form factor, ITX, or otherwise efficient size and power demand PC build. It provided a good uplift from the previous GeForce RTX 3050 for modern gaming at 1080p, though with some game quality sacrifices. It supports the latest NVIDIA RTX 50 Series Blackwell features, DLSS 4, and Frame Generation, as well as NVENC encoding/decoding. The ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 5050 SOLO gets you in the door to modern features, and game support, in a small compact form that is well cooled, quiet, and at MSRP.
