Mafia: The Old Country
Mafia: The Old Country was released to PC in August of 2025 and is based on the Unreal Engine 5 game engine. Mafia: The Old Country features Nanite and Lumen from Unreal Engine 5 with detailed environments and realistic lighting, with MetaHuman for characters. It does use Lumen for realistic global illumination and shadows. It also supports DLSS, FSR, XeSS, and TSR. We are using a manual in-game run-through in the Prologue: Tremori section that takes place outdoors, in the entirety of the outdoor section playthrough in the daylight.
Native Resolution

Mafia: The Old Country is a very demanding game, and performance at the higher settings is not playable. Even when dropping the game down to Medium or Low graphics settings, this game is not playable at native resolution 1080p on the ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 5050 SOLO. Instead, DLSS Upscaling will be required to have a smooth and playable experience, even at 1080p. We found that the best quality setting was “Medium”, which kept the visual quality level up enough to not be terrible, and the performance to get around 79FPS average with DLSS Upscaling Quality on the ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 5050 SOLO.
The ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 5050 SOLO is 57% faster than the GeForce RTX 3050 and 4% faster than the Radeon RX 7600. The ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 5050 SOLO is 3% slower than the GeForce RTX 4060. Overclocking adds 5% more performance and puts it above the GeForce RTX 4060.
