Gaming Performance with GeForce RTX 5060 – X3D Gaming Mode
There was one thing that came to mind after the GIGABYTE X870E AORUS ELITE X3D was finished: what if we ran a true 1080p video card in the same games? Would the X3D Gaming Mode have any benefit? After all, someone who games at 1080p isn’t likely to use an RTX 5080. So let us run one more set of benchmarks with a GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 5060 GAMING OC 8G video card and find out…..every setting is the same as the above testing, excepting Black Myth: Wukong and S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2, where we dropped the quality settings to “High” to gain playable frame rates.
Black Myth: Wukong

Claire Obscur: Expedition 33

Doom: The Dark Ages

Horizon Forbidden West

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl

Cyberpunk 2077

Horizon Zero Dawn

With any degree of certainty, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II was the only game that showed any gain from our settings. In that, we saw 4% improvement. In all our other games, there was no real improvement of substance using X3D Gaming Mode with this video card at its native 1080p.
