MSI GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16G VENTUS 3X PZ OC video card: power

Here we can see the MSI GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16G VENTUS 3X PZ OC comes in below the listed TGP in both default and overclocked testing. There is roughly 13% less power usage compared to the XFX Swift Radeon RX 9070 XT White Triple Fan Gaming Edition.

Temperature

In the two graphs above, things trade blows a bit. The XFX Swift Radeon RX 9070 XT White Triple Fan Gaming Edition was noted to have an excellent cooling design when we reviewed it earlier in the year. This is showing again compared to the MSI GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16G VENTUS 3X PZ OC, which itself did a splendid job staying cool and quiet.

Still, 11 degrees is pretty significant and worth bragging about. But whoops, the memory temperatures got away. Now we see the MSI GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16G VENTUS 3X PZ OC take the prize and by that same margin. When you take a closer look, the MSI GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16G VENTUS 3X PZ OC is just very consistently cool…….and very quiet, we might add. We set the fans on automatic and never had to adjust them.

SUMMARY

This review is the fourth in a series highlighting MSI Project Zero. In the review we evaluate the MSI GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16G VENTUS 3X PZ OC video card. This is the lone video card in the Project Zero design group. Overall this video card performs like any other RTX 5070 Ti. It is however a great overclocker despite having a locked power limit and Core voltage. The distinct Project Zero aesthetic, excellent cooling and hidden HPWR connection make this a very unique and innovative design.
