A recent addition to Intel’s support page has some theorizing that the Intel Arc Pro B70 could soon be getting a release. CES came and went this year, and the Arc B770 was one of several products that seemingly ghosted the event after multiple industry insiders claimed it would be announced. The aforementioned B770 was thought to be the successor to Intel’s first flagship consumer dGPU, the Arc A770, but instead, it sounds as if it has been put on hold and replaced with the Arc Pro B70. Clicking on the link on Intel’s page won’t get you anywhere, so there’s still no official product page for it, but thanks to VideoCardz, there are some purported specifications that could interest folks.
The Intel Arc Pro B70 is rumored to use the BMG-G31 Battlemage, aka Big Battlemage die. Featuring 32 Xe2 cores, which translates to a total of 4,096 GPU cores, it is said to include 32 GB GDDR6 memory on a 256-bit bus. It is now believed that the flagship Arc Pro offering is intended to be used as a workstation/AI solution and not geared toward gaming, but there’s nothing stopping anyone able to procure one from gaming with it, since the pre-existing Arc drivers do support the Pro lineup. What is likely to be a more budget-friendly option, the Intel Arc B65 uses 20 Xe2/2560 cores, also paired with 32 GB GDDR6 memory on a 256-bit bus and the same BMG-G31 die.
Intel has largely been focusing on its CPU lineup and will launch its Arrow Lake refresh on March 11, where the Ultra 200K Plus will be revealed. Many are also still waiting to get their hands on a Panther Lake processor featuring Arc B390 graphics. A couple of laptops made their debut at CES 26, featuring these processors, and quickly gained attention for their impressive gaming performance. However, since then, it’s been rumored that they may not launch until the end of the year or perhaps early 2027.
