GIGABYTE has officially launched its latest 32-inch gaming monitor, the MO32U24, with many modern features and a new film coating for improved visuals. The MO32U24 checks off quite a few boxes with its specifications, including full-bandwidth HDMI 2.1 @ 48 Gbps, support for VRR with either AMD FreeSync Premium Pro or NVIDIA G-SYNC and includes OLED VRR-Anti-Flicker, and next-generation QD-OLED Penta Tandem technology. The five-layer panel is capable of more efficient light emission while reaching brighter levels than previous OLED panels and is coated in what GIGABYTE calls ObsidianShield Film for increased perceived black levels of up to 40%, while “preserving deep blacks and vivid colors even under strong ambient light.”
The MO32U24 is VESA Certified Display HDR TrueBlack 500, has an HDR brightness of 1000 nits, is also VESA Certified ClearMR 13000, and is capable of 99% DCI-P3 coverage. Protection features include AI OLED Care and a 3-year warranty, which covers burn-in. Users in well-lit rooms can enable GIGABYTE’s HyperNits mode, which boosts brightness levels by up to 30% at the maximum setting for bright environments or 20% for darker spaces. In essence, display brightness can go from 1000 nits up to 1300 nits.

At a time when most of the PC industry is a train wreck in progress, 2026 is looking to be a good year for those interested in upgrading their gaming displays. Thanks to new Penta Tandem OLED technology, there are an assortment of new products from monitor manufacturers making their debut this year, which provide improved visual quality, greater brightness levels, and deeper perceived black levels as well. While the MO32U24 doesn’t feature dual or triple mode technology, it does offer a number of premium features and has been listed on Newegg for $999.99, but is currently out of stock.
