The 14th Gen Intel Core i9-14900KS, Intel’s next Special Edition processor, will be released next week on Thursday, March 14, according to a report online. Pricing remains unknown, but users can expect boost clocks of up to 6.2 GHz out of the box—a welcome improvement over the previous Core i9-13900KS, which is advertised with a 6.0 GHz boost clock.

Past/incoming KS chips:

  • Core i9-12900KS: 16-cores up to 5.5 GHz (launched April 5, 2022)
  • Core i9-13900KS: 24-cores up to 6.0 GHz (launched January 12, 2023)
  • Core i9-14900KS: 24-cores up to 6.2 GHz (launches March 14, 2024)

VideoCardz theorizes:

Intel has not yet confirmed pricing for its, 14900KS SKU, but the past two releases had the same MSRP of $739, so this model should be no different.

My 3090 and fat PS3 are both very good for that too.

I still have my fat PS3 as well and it does get a tad "warm".
