Geoff Keighley has announced that Summer Game Fest, a live video game event that the Canadian games journalist launched back in 2020 following the cancellation of traditional showcases due to COVID-19, will be back this year for a fifth time to keep gamers up to date on the latest gaming announcements. The news comes three months after the Entertainment Software Association revealed that E3, once the game industry’s premier trade event, had been killed off, making E3 2021 its last.
