EARTH DEFENSE FORCE 6, the latest in D3’s series of sci-fi third-person shooters that sees players defending the planet against aliens and other threats as part of the titular EDF, will be available to Western audiences for the first time on July 25, 2024, developer SANDLOT and D3Publisher have announced. Pre-orders are open now for the PS4 and PS5 versions of the game, while PC players can wishlist the title via Steam.

A story synopsis:
The year is 2024 AD. Mankind has won the long battle against the unknown invaders. The enemy Primers are now gone and peace has returned to Mother Earth. However, the population has shrunk to 10% and the world was on the verge of collapse. The survivors fought against the remaining threats while trying their best to continue their recovery.
