Red Dead Redemption, the critically acclaimed 2010 cowboy action-adventure game developed by Rockstar San Diego and published by Rockstar Games, may finally be coming to the PC following what has been years of exclusivity on console platforms, including PS3, Xbox 360, and, more recently, Nintendo Switch and PS4, according to new marketing strings that have been uncovered from Rockstar. The text, which is said to stem from “Rockstar’s launcher site file,” calls on players to experience the epic Western adventures “on PC.”
The texts in question:
- “RDR ProductPromotion Intro_Body”: “Journey across the sprawling expanses of the American West and Mexico in Red Dead Redemption, and its zombie-horror companion, Undead Nightmare, now playable on PC.”
- “RDR ProductPromotion Intro_LongTit1e”: “Experience the epic Western adventures that defined a generation. “
