Larian Studios, the celebrated developer behind 2023’s Baldur’s Gate 3 and various Divinity games, including Divinity: Original Sin and Divinity: Dragon Commander, is officially expanding with Larian Studios Warsaw, a seventh studio that will operate in the heart and capital of Poland, per a fresh tweet that the official @larianstudios account sent out via X this morning. The news comes a month after Larian confirmed that it was working on two new projects, which founder Swen Vincke has already hyped up as being Larian’s “best work ever.”
Larian’s locations now include:
- Ghent, Belgium
- Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
- Quebec City, Canada
- Dublin, Ireland
- Guildford, UK
- Barcelona, Spain
- Warsaw, Poland

With two very ambitious RPGs now starting development, what better way to see our visions realised than by growing the team and opening a 7th studio in the heart of Poland’s lively gaming scene!

Vincke on Larian’s next projects:
I don’t know if we’re going to pull it off, but looking at our narrative, visual and gameplay plans, I think what we’re working on now will be our best work ever. I get excited like a kid watching the key imagery, want to show it to everyone now and grumble in frustration at having to wait until it’s actually all working. Yes, it’s hype but it’s hype because it really looks and feels good.
