ASUS ROG Strix XG27UCG Introduced as World’s First Dual-Mode LCD Monitor (4K @ 160 Hz, FHD @ 320 Hz)

ASUS has announced that the ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG, the world’s first glossy WOLED gaming monitor, will be complemented by another industry first in the form of the ROG Strix XG27UCG—an LCD monitor that is said to be the very first dual-mode LCD monitor, featuring a 27-inch panel that can deliver not only 4K @ 160 Hz, but also FHD @ 320 Hz. Rounding out ASUS’ latest monitors is the Swift OLED PG27AQDM, which gains an anti-flicker feature this week as part of a new firmware update.

The 27-inch 4K ROG Strix XG27UCG is the world’s first LCD monitor with a dual mode that allows users to easily switch between native 4K @ 160 Hz visuals and FHD @ 320 Hz visuals via a monitor hot key, giving them the best possible performance and visuals.
