A new Epic Games Store DB accidentally leaked a number of unannounced popular titles ahead of their official reveal. The leak was first reported by ResetEra user MondoMega who discovered how the new Steam-like DB allows users to search via publisher to see various titles. However, it appears that whoever greenlit the latest feature to go live didn’t catch that not all filters were in place beforehand and so unpublished titles such as the Final Fantasy IX Remake, The Last of Us Part 2, and even what is beleived to be a new Turok game were among those revealed.
Per ResetEra:
“A new SteamDB equivalent for Epic Games has recently launched, EpicDB; and with it comes the discovery of a lot of things the public are not meant to have seen. Search a publisher name and check their page and you’ll find plenty of games / pages (albiet mostly labelled with codenames) that have not been published.”
There are many codenamed titles in the lists but insiders and those who’ve been tracking various projects in development were quick to deduce them. There are also a number of fake listings that were easy to spot as they were titles from different publishers but listed under a single fake account which gave it away.

Some of the codenames, per DSOG) are Utah (TLOU Pt 2), Axel Streets of Rage), Momo (FF IX), and Skobeloff (FFXVI). This makes the 2nd time that The Last of Us Part 2 has been mentioned in as many weeks so odds are probable that Sony will be making an official announcement before summer ends. The list also shows new entries dated from this January for Morrowind and Oblivion so its possible that Bethesda might have something in the works with those Skyrim titles. Epic has since disabled its new DB page and issued a statement regarding the mixup.
Per Press Start:
“We released an update tonight so third-party tools can’t surface any new unpublished product titles from the Epic Games Store catalog,” the company said.”
