The PC version of God of War Ragnarök, a definitive version of the 2022 action-adventure game from Santa Monica Studio and Jet Pack Interactive that delivers several improvements over its PS4 and PS5 counterparts, including unlocked frame rates, “super” ultra-widescreen support (i.e., 32:9), and some of the latest upscaling technologies from NVIDIA, Intel, and AMD, is on track for release tomorrow on Windows PCs via Steam and the Epic Games Store, according to a new launch trailer for the game that PlayStation shared through its official channels today. The trailer comes a day after NVIDIA published a set of first-party benchmarks for the game, including those that suggest the GeForce RTX 40 Series will be able to deliver up to 199.4 FPS in the game at 4K max settings with the help of DLSS 3.

- Reduced Puzzle Hints Option

God of War Ragnarök is an action-adventure game where players take the role of Kratos and his son as they embark on a quest to prevent the coming of Ragnarök. Players explore the Nine Realms, battling enemies in close-up, hand-to-hand combat against human-like raiders and fantastical creatures. Players use the Leviathan Axe and the chained Blades of Chaos to battle enemies, with attacks resulting in large sprays of red blood, decapitation, and dismemberment. After weakening an enemy, players can perform finishing moves that depict close-up impalement, dismemberment, and decapitation. Strong Language is used in the dialogue.
