Update 1, a new update for DOOM + DOOM II that delivers several requested improvements and fixes for Nightdive Studios’ re-releases of id Software’s genre-defining first-person shooters, is now available for download on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, Bethesda has announced. One of the biggest improvements relate to visuals, whereby 21:9 resolution graphics have been added for not only DOOM and DOOM II, but also for the bundle’s two included episodes: The Plutonia Experiment and TNT: Evilution. An official trailer for the game can be found below.
Added 21:9 resolution graphics for DOOM, DOOM II, The Plutonia Experiment and TNT: Evilution. Left turn, right turn and strafe keys added to keyboard bindings, allowing playing with old-school keyboard-only tank controls. Added 3D sound option in Sound Menu, allowing more than two speaker setups to be used – this allows individual sound effect levels to be taken into account compared to the original DOOM sound system. Cheats can now be activated from the pause menu. Entering the original game’s cheat codes will unlock them for future use. You can also unlock all cheats from the Gameplay Settings menu.

Still going through Doom 2: Legacy of Rust in this collection, but I got sick for a couple weeks, and I can't play FPS games when I am sick. On top of that, I spilled TheraFlu on my mouse, which f*cked it up pretty good. So needless to say, my playthrough of Legacy of Rust (and separately my playthrough of Doom 2 Path-Traced) is put on hold until I get a replacement mouse.

Tis the season for the sicknesses to start. Hope you're feeling better.

Thanks man. Yeah by now whatever it was has mostly run its course. I missed last Christmas and New Years due to COVID-19, which put me out over a month. It still feels like I JUST had it. So I'm not in the mood for other illnesses.

I hope you heal up quickly bro. I know what it's like to feel nauseous when trying to game and not feeling well. Been through that a lot in the last couple of decades and it always bums me out to be that way. From flu, covid, and other things, been there and don't want any of it.
Wasn't the TNT Evolution a video card... No it was the Riva TNT never mind old man moment passed.
