343 Industries has announced that a new dawn is coming to the Halo franchise, and with it comes the news that all future installments of the sci-fi shooter will be developed on Unreal Engine, the 3D computer graphics game engine from Epic Games that, per its latest iteration, counts Nanite, Lumen, and MegaLights as some of its top features. 343 Industries, which was founded by Microsoft 17 years ago to spearhead the Halo franchise, will also be going by a new and more blatant name: Halo Studios.
