BioWare has confirmed that Dragon Age: The Veilguard won’t include any kind of third-party DRM (e.g., Denuvo) when the new fantasy RPG launches for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on October 31, and while no specific reason was given in the developer’s blog post stating the fact, Michael Gamble, Project Director and Executive Producer at BioWare, has now chimed in, explaining that DRM isn’t being introduced because BioWare trusts players not to resort to piracy. BioWare’s trust in gamers comes amid a new GeForce NOW Ultimate bundle from NVIDIA, one in which subscribers can get the game for free at launch as part of a limited-time promotion. The original word from Gamble, including the global launch times for Dragon Age: The Veilguard, can be found below.
Lots of this in the chat today. Love it. Social media is okay sometimes. pic.twitter.com/cN3r7ZCq5e
